Scottish Canadians
Scottish Canadians are Canadians who have full or partial Scottish ancestry. People of Scottish ancestry form an important group in several countries in North and South America. With an estimated size of approximately 10 million, It forms an important group in Canada (12% of the population), the United States (2% of the Population), Argentina (100,000), Chile, and Brazil.
Scottish Canadians account for about 12.09% of the total population of Canada and form the third-largest ancestry group in Canada. According to the Canadian Census 2021, there were 4,392,200 people of Scottish descent in Canada.

Ontario, with 1,937,010 people of Scottish ancestry, has the largest population of Scottish-Canadians in Canada followed by British Columbia (774,455) and Alberta (631,020).
Percentage-wise Prince Edward Island (34.05%) has the highest percentage of Scottish followed by Nova Scotia (26.19%) and Yukon (21.16%).
