The United States of America or the United States is a country located in North America. It’s the world’s fourth-largest country by area and the third-largest country by population and the U.S. population is equivalent to 4.25% of the total world population. Population trends are showing signs of returning to pre-pandemic levels. According to recent reports, the country’s population has increased by 1.6 million people in the past year, resulting in a 0.5% growth rate that brings the total population to 335 million.
The U.S. Census Bureau reported 331,449,281 residents as of April 1, 2020, making the United States the third most populous nation in the world, after China and India. As per the United States Census estimates, the population of the United States as of June 2023 is 334,914,895 (335 million or 33.5 crores)
