Swiss Ancestry in United States
Swiss Americans are Americans who have full or partial Swiss ancestry. People of Swiss ancestry form an important group in several countries in North and South America. As per the estimates, the total population of Swiss ancestry is 1.3 million around the world, and forms an important minority Group in the United States, Canada, Chile, Brazil, and Argentina.
According to the United States Ancestry Census 2020, there were 908,570 (0.28% of the U.S. population) people of Swiss descent in the U.S.
