Jewish Canadians
Jewish Canadians are Canadians who follow Judaism as their religion and/or are ethnically Jewish and are a part of the greater Jewish diaspora. People of Jewish ancestry form an important group in several countries in North and South America. They form the third-largest Jewish community in the world, exceeded only by those in Israel and in the United States.
Jewish Canadians account for about 0.91% of the total population of Canada. According to the Canadian Census 2021, there were 335,295 people of Jewish descent in Canada. Ontario is the province with the highest percentage of Jewish population in Canada.

Jewish population in Canadian Provinces
Ontario, with 196,100 people of Jewish faith, has the largest population of Jewish Canadians in Canada followed by Quebec (84,530) and British Columbia (26,850).
Percentage-wise Ontario (1.4%) has the highest percentage of Jewish followed by Quebec (1%) and Manitoba (0.9%).

Toronto Metro area with 119,435 people of Jewish ancestry, has the largest population of Jewish Canadians. It’s followed by Montreal (53,895) and Vancouver (22,280).
