Portuguese Canadians are Canadians who have full or partial Portuguese ancestry. People of Portuguese origin form an important group in several countries in North and South America.
Portuguese Canadians account for about 1.23% of the total population of Canada. According to the Canadian Census 2021, there were 448,310 people of Portuguese descent in Canada. Saskatchewan is the province with the highest percentage of Portuguese population in Canada.

Ontario with 300,600 people of Portuguese ancestry, has the largest population of Portuguese -Canadians in Canada followed by Quebec( 64,385) and British Columbia (39,755).
Percentage-wise Ontario (2.11%) has the highest percentage of Portuguese followed by Manitoba (1%) and British Columbia (0.79%).
