Serbian Ancestry in America
Serbian Americans are Americans who have full or partial Serb ethnic ancestry. People of Serbian ancestry form an important group in several countries in North and South America. As per 2008 estimates, the Serbian diaspora numbered 4 million, and it was estimated that 1-1.2 million were in North America, and 20,000 were in Central and South America.
Serbian American Population
According to the United States Ancestry Census estimates for 2020, there were 190,625 (0.06% of the U.S. population) people of Serbian descent in the U.S. However, the number may be significantly higher, as there were some 236,624 (0.07%) additional people who identified as Yugoslavian living in the United States.
