Greek Americans are Americans who have full or partial Greek ancestry. People of Greek ancestry form an important group in several countries in North and South America. As per the US Census 2020, Greek ancestry is estimated at 1.25 million people. It also forms an important minority Group in Canada, Brazil, and Mexico.
In the United States census of 2020, 1.25 million people self-identified as being fully or partly of Greek ancestry. According to the United States Census 2021, there were 1,249,194 (0.38% of the U.S. population) people of Greek descent in the U.S.

Population wise New York (New York) has the largest number of people with Greek Ancestry followed by California (129,127), Illinois (91,086), Florida (89,658), and Massachusetts (76,317).
