Religion in Hungary
Chrisanity is the majority religion in Hungary and 54.4% of the population follows Chrisanity. Among Christians, Roman Catholicism has the most adherents and is followed by 38.9% of the population. Next comes Calvinists at 11.6%, Protestants at 3%, and other Christians at 0.5%.
Non-Christian faiths account for 0.6%, and the remaining 45.4% are classified as unaffiliated, which can mean agnostic, atheist, or “nothing in particular.”
Other religious groups are distributed throughout the country and include Jews, Buddhists, Muslims, and Hinduism.

Hungarian Diasopra
People of Hungarian ancestry form an important group in several countries in North and South America. As per the estimates, the total population of the Hungarian Diaspora is 2 million in the Americas.
