Andorra, officially the Principality of Andorra is a landlocked microstate on the Iberian Peninsula, in the eastern Pyrenees, bordered by France to the north and Spain to the south. Andorra is the sixth-smallest state in Europe and the 8th-smallest by population. According to the Statistics Department of Andorra, the population of  Andorra in 2022 is 81,588. It has a total area of  464 km²  with a population density of  175.8/km².

Religion in Andorra

Religion in Andorra is predominantly Roman Catholic, with the Catholic Church holding a significant influence on the cultural and social fabric of the country. According to the 2019 International Religious Freedom Report, approximately 88% of the population identifies as Catholic. The constitution recognizes the role of the Catholic Church and grants it certain privileges. Alongside Catholicism, there is also a small Protestant community in Andorra, as well as individuals who adhere to other religious beliefs or identify as non-religious. Despite a diverse religious landscape, the Catholic faith remains deeply rooted in Andorran society.
