Finnish Ancestry in United States
Finnish Americans are Americans who have full or partial Finnish ancestry and with ancestral roots from Finland or Finnish people who emigrated to and reside in the United States. People of Finnish ancestry form a minority group in several countries in North and South America. As per the estimates, the total population of Finnish ancestry is around 1 million in the Americas.
According to the United States Ancestry Census 2020, there were 644,850 (0.20% of the U.S. population) people of Finnish descent in the U.S.
