Finnish Americans are Americans who have full or partial Finnish ancestry and with ancestral roots from Finland or Finnish people who emigrated to and reside in the United States.  According to the United States Ancestry Census estimates 2020, there were 644,850 (0.20% of the US Population) people of Finnish descent in the U.S.

Population wise Minnesota (99,823) has the largest number of people with Finnish Ancestry followed by Michigan (93,187), California (52,422), Washington (48,091), and Wisconsin (37,949).

Percentage-wise top US states with Russian Ancestry are Minnesota (1.78%), Michigan (0.93%), Wisconsin (0.65%), Montana (0.64%), and Washington (0.64%).

Finnish Canadians are Canadians who have full or partial Finnish ancestry. Finnish Canadians account for about  0.40%  of the total population of Canada

According to the Canadian Census 2016, there were 136,215 people of Finnish descent in Canada.

Ontario, with 74,505 people of Finnish ancestry, has the largest population of Finnish Canadians in Canada followed by British Columbia (31,610) and Alberta (16,285). Percentage-wise Yukon(1.28%) has the highest percentage of Russians followed by   British Columbia (0.72%) and Ontario (0.58%)
